Our low care building is a two story building and can accommodate 57 residents and includes a 15 bed secured dementia wing.
It has single rooms with private en suites (Room Type 1), several lounge and activity areas, a hairdressing salon, chapel and outdoor sitting areas.
The rooms have a private balcony, are air conditioned, with built in wardrobes, a small kitchen sink and room for a small bar fridge. Rooms overlook bushland or gardens / car park. All rooms have an emergency button, TV and telephone connection, and a medical bed is provided. En suites have an emergency button and grab rails.
The dining area is on the ground floor, with accessibility for residents with walkers; tables seat 4 and seating is also available for guests.
The ground floor lounge area has access to an outdoor patio area; has single and double lounge chairs, small tables with seating, a large flat TV screen and small kitchenette area with a coffee dispensing machine for visitors and residents.
The first floor sitting room has views over adjoining bushland, and a small kiosk that is opened once per week and run by volunteers.
The activities room is on the first floor and has a number of tables and chairs for activities, single and double lounge chairs, a small kitchenette, large flat TV screen and access to a disabled toilet.
Another activity room, referred to as the Link Activity room, is used for daily exercise groups, craft activities, entertainment, has window bench seating and decorative stain glass window features. The area also has two computers for resident use.
The building also has a physiotherapy room with exercise equipment suitable for residents; a Chapel and is serviced by two passenger lifts.
The outdoor garden areas are well maintained and have footpaths for garden walks, with gazebos and benches.
