Dementia Care

The ground floor of the Hostel has been designed as a low care dementia specific unit.  The unit provides the residents with a comfortable home like environment and as much freedom as possible without the need to feel “locked in”.  The area behind the hostel has been landscaped as garden terraces and a sitting area.

Respite Care

We also provide temporary or short term, alternate care arrangements for older people still living at home.  Respite care can help a person recover from an illness, operation or during a difficult period.  Sometimes a person’s carer needs a break or is going on an extended holiday and needs someone to look after his or her relative.

Self Care Units

We have modern self-care units, some with garage, in four different sizes.  Every unit features: kitchen, bathroom/laundry with dryer, built in wardrobes, air conditioning, balcony or patio and an emergency call system.

Residents are able to enjoy independent living, without the burden of looking after their own lawns, gardens or household repairs and maintenance ... photos

Community Care Packages

Through our Community Care Packages we are able to provide assistance to older persons in their homes, and therefore, in some cases postponing the need for some people to move into residential care.  The type of services provided include personal care, meal preparation, laundry, light cleaning, transport to doctors and medical specialists, assistance with shopping and social activities.  These services are flexible and can change, as a person’s needs change.
